👀 A gallery with a Ghanaian twist
#264 | Campy Hollywood Art
Do you like movie posters? I really do —especially those of the hand-drawn variety. Indian cinema, in particular, has a rich history of amazing hand-drawn posters through the ages —some campy, some crude, and all memorable.
Equally memorable are the posters available for sale at Deadly Prey Gallery, a Chicago-based travelling gallery that has partnered with 10 artists from Ghana. Their website and Instagram showcase the best of what they have to offer because they do have images other than movie posters to offer.

But if movie posters are what give you kicks, here is a Twitter thread highlighting the best of the best from a recent exhibition the gallery participated in.
Go ahead, then. Buy a poster or two. Give your room the makeover it is crying out for.
Just One Thing is the perfect recommendation for anyone into campy art. Point us their way?
