If you've been reading my Just One Things, you know I have a fear of ageing (that I'm actively trying to deal with by reading Mary Oliver).
But sometimes, you've just got to give in to your fears.
For instance, when someone you imagined spending your life with walks away from you, you cut contact and block them everywhere because you fear learning about their life now that they're living it without you. But then you hear a whisper that they're living their dream of moving to the French countryside and spiral into a wormhole of sadness and devastation. Yes, this may or may not be based on a true story.
Basically, your fears have come true ("they're happy without me"), but you're still alive and breathing. Woah.
What's the lesson here? Give in to your fears: they seem like giant monsters, but they're probably just like garden gnomes.
The fear I'm giving in to today is *drumroll* ageing. Join me.
This website tells you EXACTLY how old you are. Not just your age but the number of days you've lived and kilometres "you have travelled as the Sun revolves around the centre of our galaxy". Bet you never thought about that!
Go find out! Hand on heart, you'll be all right.

The most interesting thing I read today, especially since I am turning a new number soon!
What fun! I remember my dad saying " Even if you live to a 100 years , you are going to live only 36500 days. Make the most of each one" This tells me those number of days! Loved it!
