Hey there,
Let me begin with a confession. I love reading. I've always been a voracious reader and continue to be one today. My mode of reading, however, has changed as I age. Where I used to devour paper books earlier, I now only find myself able to read digitally.
But thankfully, there is so much more to read in this brave, new world we occupy. My Thing today is about one of those places where you can read stuff. Simply for the love of reading, yes, but also to gain perspective on a wide variety of topics from around the world.
Say hello to The Dial.
A current affairs magazine that publishes articles on politics, culture, the environment, and so much more, with inputs from places as diverse as South Sudan, Ireland, and Cambodia. And not just articles... there are poems, fiction, and book excerpts too.
Admittedly, The Dial hasn't been around long enough, but the archives still have enough to keep you engaged for a little while.
Go ahead. Log on. Give it a gander. May the words forever find you.
Baaa.
