Hi there,
About a month ago, all of us took a cue from a beloved colleague. Sitting in different cities across India, we took turns complaining about how hot it was where we were. Comparing temperatures, sweat levels, and AC usage. Imagining the sweater weather and snowcapped mountains that awaited us on our trip to the mountains some weeks away.
But why wait some weeks when you're always working from home?Â
I packed my bags and booked my tickets. All starry-eyed about the prospect of chai, Maggi and pleasant weather in the mountains.
I'm here now. In the mountains. And I'm not complaining about the heat anymore. But I'm still complaining. About the cold.
The grass is always greener where you're not, no?Â
American Baron gets it. Go see.

Well written! The grass is certainly greener on the other bank. And in order to get there, while crossing the proverbial river, you may have to cross many hurdles too! Just a thought!
So true! Beautiful!!
