Is it true that AI is eating the world? I dunno. Personally, I don’t think AI can replace people, especially when it comes to the humanities. Maybe it is more likely in STEM fields.
And if you think I exaggerate, take a look at today’s Thing.
Songtell, launched late last year, uses AI to “unravel the stories behind the lyrics you love”. Or, to say it more clearly, the website uses AI to interpret song lyrics and “suggest” what they mean.
Surprisingly for an AI-powered tool, the site only has a million-odd songs when I last checked. And the meanings… all I’ll say is that they do look like they’re AI-generated.
